Tacked above our kitchen sink is a sign challenging us to LIVE WITH PASSION.
It’s a reminder each day is a gift. Not to be squandered, but to be unwrapped. Savored. Explored.
What we do with this blessing is entirely up to us. We can participate or watch as time passes us by. Forever.
Sometimes it takes a tragedy to spur us into action, to embrace each and every day as though it’s priceless. Which it is.
Forty-one years ago, my brother Joe died in a motorcycle accident. So much hope. So much promise. Dashed away.
Life took on new meaning. And importance. To do. To excel. To appreciate. To cherish. To lament a life not lived.
Live yours. With passion.
